Mental Health and Well-Being at Cassiobury Junior School

At Cassiobury Junior School, we believe that Mental Health and Well-being are integral to the success and growth of every child. We recognise that mental health affects learning and development, which is why we are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

We aim to prioritise Mental Health and Well-being awareness, create a culture of empathy and understanding, and provide the necessary resources to ensure that every child feels valued, heard, and supported. We strive to equip our children with the tools they need to manage their emotional well-being, overcome challenges, and build resilience for the future.

We work on a tiered system of support dependent on the needs of the individual child and their circumstances.

You can access further information about our processes and procedures below

please be aware that we are currently updating this page.

Cassiobury Junior School is also committed to supporting the Mental Health and Well-being of our staff. We offer a range of resources, including access to counselling services, mental health workshops, and wellbeing programs. Regular check-ins and open lines of communication with leadership help ensure that staff feel supported and valued.

Finally, we offer support to parents through maintaining open communication, providing opportunities for parents to connect with staff, share concerns, and access local services. Our aim is to create a supportive community where parents feel understood and empowered.
