Our Year 5 Christmas Choir visit to Warner Bros. Executives and Tenants - December 2025
Tree Planting - This week some of our School's Eco Council children have taken part in planting trees near Yr3/4 playground. A huge well-done to the school’s Eco Councils for their enthusiastic participation in the tree-planting day. We worked with a zero carbon eco footprint company who donated the trees and provided the manpower.
Author Visit - We were really fortunate to have the wonderful Paterson Joseph in our school this morning. He performed a chapter of his book and signed nearly 200 books. We have many great authors visit but this was an inspirational morning. Paterson talked about his research into the 'forgotten' black children in history and the value of knowing your origin story. We look forward to building on this next half term. Ambulance Visit - Wednesday 1st October 2025
On Monday 31st March, Year 3 had a visit from Watford Fire Brigade's Red Watch team. They came in to tell us about their role in the community, what they can do to help, what equipment they use as well as demonstrating how some of their equipment works, dressing teachers up in their protective uniform and letting us go inside the fire engine. We thoroughly enjoyed their visit to support our PSHE lessons on people in our community.
